Painting aly frame / swingarm - November 16, 2008, 08:45 PM

Looking to paint instead of powder coat one of my bikes. This a money saving thing.

Anybody done this? Do I need to use high-temp paint?

Is it possible or do I need tp PC in it?

u can paint it if u want u just have to prep the hell out of it and use a self etching primer so the paint will stick!!! honestly just powder coat it!!!!! its cheaper to PC than it is to use GOOD paint products.....

yah my reading tells me so far that I have to prep and primer it real good. This is the first I've hear of the self-etching.
