Question Question for anyone with competition werkes fe - April 15, 2010, 01:40 PM

If you have a Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator, I have a question for you:
How bright are the turn signals?
I like this kit, but I don't want to take a step backwards when it comes to visibility.

The main reason I'm interested in this brand of f.e. is that the new turn signals don't stick out as far and won't get in the way of any side bags/cases. Yes, I have luggage on my bike...

Here's the fender eliminator kit I'm talking about:

These turn signals are made by Lockhart Phillips. I think they're called Mark VI. They have a clear lense, but the bulbs are amber.
Is that just as safe as stock? I tried searching YouTube for examples, etc., but no dice.

Thanks!

I have this set-up on my duc. The lights are inside my of tail vent though. No need to worry about how bright they are. The lights are very bright. My tail looks like a giant red bulb everytime I turn it on.
