Quick oi pan gasket question... - April 4, 2011, 01:25 PM

Can I install a new oil pan gasket without any gasket sealer (yamabond 6b)? I was told that I could so long as it was a brand new gasket.

Wanna ride tonight and need to get the bike put back together, but don't have any gasket sealer

let's f*cking rage!

you can but it take some finesse. The yamabond will hold the gasket in place as you bolt everything back up. Don't need but a few dabs worth.
