Question r6 wiring question - April 2, 2013, 04:02 PM

Probably dumb question but a search did'nt turn up this exact issue.
Anyway My wifes 2010 r6 i bought her some flush mount signals for the front for her birthday and am trying to install them. The wiring harness on the bike has two black and one blue wire feeding the stock sigs. The new sigs have one black and one white. how should this be wired? im thinking tie the blacks together and attach the black of the new sigs, then the blue to the white.
Ive done this many times on other bikes but never encountered the three wire signal leg before and don't want to fry anything.
all constructive help appreciated.

google the wiring diagram. it will tell you what the wires are for.

but you should have 12v constant for drl's.
a ground.
and a turn signal 12v.

test them with a multimeter.
