Race Plastics - October 16, 2007, 02:34 PM

Looking to buy some race plastics for next year. Currently deciding between catalyst composites and hotbodies. Anyone have an opinion on which is better? They are relatively the same price.

No worries! Jim (3isenough) has a triumph so maybe the fit will be better for him.

I'm going with the plastic Carnage/Venom picked up...from the pics and price those suite my needs.

Good info for the Kawi riders though.

Yea, I've heard some not so good things about fit in other forums too. Probably gonna go with catalyst.

we ran the catalyst composits on all 3 bikes this year with no issues. the fit was very good and took very little prep for the paint. i would however go ahead and pay the extra $15 and have them install the dzeus fasteners for you. you cant even buy them that cheap. the set that is on .rj's sv was lowsided at shenandoah and held up great. the set that is on the 600 (for sale at ffx cycles if you want to see it) was purchased used and while i would have drilled the holes in different places it still worked great all season.

MissS:no now!!!

bambam nope you said i have a few hours

MissS: I changed my mind

bambam: see MissS: well, you have a few hours

MissS: I'm a female, allowed to do it

i believe that fairfax cycles had to set up a dealer account to get ours for us. give them a call. they were alot cheaper than the sharkskins and i was just as happy with them.
