Thumbs up Removing baffles from stock exhaust? - June 2, 2009, 10:16 AM

Hey, im trying to remove the baffles from my zx6r stock exhaust. Anyone know a website or a video guide that explains how to do it right?

I'm unemployed right now so I can't afford a aftermarket exhaust yet.

You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

Is your can welded shut, or does it have rivits? If there are no end caps. IMHO, dont f with it.

Otherwise, drill the rivets out of the end cap. Pull the end cap and see what you have.

You're gonna need new rivets and a rivet gun. Once your done.

I have 2 midpipes for that bike, 1 from a micron slip on and another from a D&D, if you can get just a can cheap, I'll sell you the midpipes cheap, should save you some $$
