I lost the only key I had once and couldn't find the key code. I ended up taking the whole cylinder in to a locksmith who made a new key from the cylinder. Now I have 4 keys.

If you can get it started someone might be able to make a key with the cylinder still on the bike.

Henry, does your key have a chip in it and were you able to pull the key out? I might be able to help you out.

Not sure on the 6r but on the 10r the two bolts that hold the key ignition switch in place are concealed, and they tighten with heads that snap off once you reach a certain torque. I have to imagine there is a way to get them out, but I sure as hell don't know what it is. I have a feeling that there are several members on sweet little ol' dot net here that know how to deal with a pesky lock that they don't have a key to, among other less savory activities. Oh but it's real easy to throw stones at the obvious ones.
