Seat help - December 7, 2010, 03:37 PM

My 86 srx is about to get on the road.. The problem is the rip on the seat is more than just a rip at the seam... I need someone to basically recover it... Just looking for a recommendation..

Thanks in advance...

I found a local automotive upholstery shop to recover the seat on my 86 FZ600 back in the day. Cost me like $25 back then, and if you have ever seen the seat on an FZ, you know thats not a simple stretch and staple job. Any automotive upholstery shop should be able to help, the one I used was off of Campbell dr in Fairfax,
elkinsupholstery.com

He has done a lot of work from my friends dad restoring antique cars/trucks.

I forget the name of the shop, but there's a dude on Howard Ave in Kensington that supposedly does a GREAT job in cars so I'm sure your seat won't be a problem. I can swing by there and get the name for you if you're interested.
