slippin gear - October 17, 2007, 02:47 PM

so i rode my friend bike last night, i noticed that when i kick into second gear and hit it the bike feels like its not sticking in gear it feels like its missing cause it kinda sputters like its going then stops then goes and once i get up in gear or i kick it down in neutral it refuses to get back in 2nd and when i try it has a scratchy noise...what could this be?
