what's the word on these brake pads? - June 25, 2007, 10:26 AM

It's time for me to change my brake pads. I found these on ebay:

HERE THEY ARE

They're considerably cheaper than the 90 bucks that I would spend for the kawi parts

HERE

I don't know the manufacturer, but have emailed the guy to ask. My question is, Am I taking my life in my hands to save a few bucks or would I be an idiot to buy the more expensive pads?

Spaceballs is one dumb ass movie. I'm surprised I had to tell you that.

Stay away from that! You have no Idea who makes them. Get some EBC green and you will be good.

+1. Brakes and tires are not something to pinch pennies on. Just my .02 (pun intended)

Any other brake advice while I have the hood up, so to speak?

Flush the fluid and change over to a braided line for better more consitant feel. check your rotor for warp and gouges. use a 200 grit to rough up the rotor also. Use Motul RBF 600 fluid.
