Who can pull a seal for me TODAY, 7/3/08? - July 3, 2008, 02:23 AM

Summary:

1997 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R (ZX750P2)
Transmission cover
Seal, oil, gear change mechanism

I have the new seal. Old seal cannot be punched. Must be pulled.

Verbage:

I want to replace the shifter oil seal on the transmission cover of my 7r. This seal sits in front of a roller bearing and cannot be punched out. It must be pulled out properly, but I do not have a puller. Can someone help me out today? I have the cover and new bearing and will travel, preferrably not on I-66.

Many thanks. It's worth a venti latte or equiv at Da Spot!

When you said "pull a seal" this came to mind. I can help you with that if you like.

Thanks Kat. What do you usually tie that to? Also, what's the speed rating for those wheels?
