Will not start - March 3, 2008, 07:01 PM

I have a ZX-9 that will not start. Battery is fully charged. It started yesterday but not tonight. Could there ba a short in the ignition switch?


Where is my passenger seat? Ummmmm don't have one but you can ride on the handle bars

errr

have you checked to make sure the lead to the battery are connected properly... a loose wire can cause issues

Everything is connected. Lights some on clock comes on but the damm thind just will not fire up...

I would check all of the simple stuff you could miss first. Check Kill switch, make sure petcock is on, kickstand up, etc. It sounds stupid but unless you ran out or gas or had something happen to the bike since the other day it should still run. What happens when you hit the start button? Does the bike turn over?

got it started........There seems to be an issue with the kickstand. After messing with the wire atached to it the bike finally started. Too latr to go ride but it started.
