***NEVER ORDER FROM RIDEGEAR.COM*** - June 24, 2008, 11:03 AM

Just like the title says:

NEVER order from ridegear.com.

This retailer is a complete POS.

This is a shoddy, dishonest online retailer. I have been fighting with them over $138 they owe me since November 2007. I ordered several pairs of gloves with the arrangement that I would keep the pair that fit best and return the rest per their return policy guidelines. However, they never sent me two pairs of A* gloves, yet they charged me for them. Then they LIED to me on the phone on three separate occassions about crediting my account. Then guess what. They quite answering their phones altogether for a time. Then they changed all their numbers. Then they told me, once I finally got a hold of someone again, that I could only recover the money by filing a dispute with my credit card company. I did, and they're now fighting it. Unbelievable.

They have used every trick in the book to weasle out of paying back the money they STOLE from my credit card account. They have treated me like a baby treats a diaper so now I'm returning the favor on every mc-related forum I can find. If it were within my power to completely shut these guys down, I would do it without a second thought.

Do not order from them. I will be adding details and evidence over time

i fwded this to my wife. She said she seconded what you said.

She had trouble with them, before she even received what she ordered and ended up canceling.

I believe i can see the future;
because everyday i repeat the
same routine.

Ayep. That's pretty well known and documented:

This thread should be a 'sticky'.

I ordered something from them when I first started riding. Learned my lesson.

On a positive note - Kneedraggers.com has always been good to me, and they have pretty much anything sportbike related you might be looking for from ridegear.com.

Even better - w/ particular brands like Joe Rocket, Suomy, and Alpinestars - email Leo at info@hyperrevmoto.com and tell him Brad Norris sent you to him and said he'd quote you a great price on xyz (whatever you want).

He WILL always be the lowest *new* price - without digging and without negotiation.

i had the same problem with R&R cycles where i ordered flush mount turn signals and an integrated rear and never got them after 3 months. i finally called my credit card company and they returned my money.

***NOTE*** THIS IS NOT THE SAME R&R THAT SPONSORS THIS SITE. THE R&R I AM REFERRING TO WAS OUT OF NEW JERSEY.****

Yeah, I ordered a lid once from ridegear and they sent the wrong size...and wrong helmet. Then told me the one I ordered from their site was discontinued and was no longer in stock. I had to follow up with them a couple of times to get my money back but I finally got it. I was lucky.

Wow, I only ordered from them once a few years back and didnt have any issues but it seems to be the norm.

If you kids think the thread should be stickied, I will.

Also.... never buy from:

58cycle.com

Everything I got was Chinese knock-off crap that didn't fit or had horrible finish. Made that mistake looking for a 'good deal'. Windscreen I got looked like fat Albert sat on it in the hot sun and they wouldnt take it back because I opened the bag it was in.
