A* boots - April 19, 2008, 09:19 PM

I have a pair of SMX+ boots that squeak like all get out when off the bike... Any tips for quieting them down a bit?

Thanks!

Its a matter of wearing them in. I have had mine for a while and they squeaked at first and that eventually went away.

Oh I haved mine since last September. No squeaks. Chances are you have the same problem I have with a pair of my tims. There is a plastic shell that is just flexing too much or something. Which ones do you have?

They're not a bad pair. Mine squeak and everyone I know who has them squeaks...

Supposedly lubricant of any sort where the plastic rubs will solve it (wd-40 etc). I've gotten used to it so I don't really care anymore.
