Post *FOR THE TRACK* Boots, Suits, and Helmets Reviews - November 29, 2008, 10:29 AM

So I'm looking at getting the R6 to the track next season and hopefully doing some racing as well after getting my CCS license (Cornerspeed). So now my question is about gear:

I know the brands, I know the different materials, weights, composites, etc...but my question is what does everyone use?

For next season I'll be needing a new helmet, new one piece suit, and a pair of boots, so what does everyone have, how do they like it, does it hold up, and would they buy again?

I'm just trying to distinguish brands a little (shoei, Arai, Icon, A*, AGV, etc, etc)

Thanks in advance, hope all had a good thanksgiving and are working hard on the winter projects!

Let the reviews/opinions/discussions begin!!!

I've had several good helmets I started out with a shoei rf1000 and liked it but it fogged up easy and the pads wore in alil fast
Next I got an icon domain and was better imho
Next I got an arai and wow I love it best helmet for me hands down!!
Boots I've only had sidis I wear them on any pace ride...
Leathers I've had a agv suit and hated it it broke on me way to easy the whole suit just fell apart but they say the older agv suits were good.
I'm rocking ab A* mx-1 now and its amazing!!!!
Back and chest protector there's several that are good, bohn and some others peesonally I'm rocking the tpro and its super nice , motoneko sells them..
As fer gloves its whatever gauntlet glove fits u best and is high quality I have a pair of rev-its and I like them they were only 125 bucks!!!!
Good luck I hoped this helped
