2 piece suit sizes - December 15, 2006, 01:46 PM

Should I base it on the same size as the jacket I got now. If I went by the size chart for my jacket (before I bought it) it would have been too small. Im shaped funny I guess. Anyways I got the jacket based on my chest and not my waist (which fits right). Should I do the same for the suit since I could also wear the jacket separately from the pants?

Looking to start out some thing entry level. I was looking at the Joe Rocket GPX Type R Two Piece Suit.

Using the jacket size chart I will need a size 50. Anyone know where can I try on one?

I have had two Dainese suits and a Fieldsheer pants jacket combo. The more money you pay the better the quality seems to be the rule. My new Dainese suit is just about dead on for a two piece. My Fieldsheer was a little tight around the neck. I have heard bad stuff about Joe Rocket not holding up in a get off and I have had first hand experience with the terrible quality of Frank Thomas gear. If you can afford to get something that costs a little more it will be worth it in the long run.

don't you mean "I'll run em over" instead of "f em" ?

We all know you will ask 200 questions about suits, not get one, then 'surprise' us with track leathers next summer and tell us we have all been duped....

no biggie, i'm not sweatin' it...but I thought the deal was the stupid questions would stop now...

Do you buy all your clothes on-line too and guess at sizes? Are you a fashion misfit?Perhaps trying shiat on would help....

there...i helped...go to your local friendly dealer and try stuff on...motogp L <> A* L <> Joe Rocket L and so on....

then hose the dealer by buying on-line....not...if you actually tell them what the on-line price is..you'd be surprised how many can match the price

now...lets count to 10 before our next silly question shall we?

now who cant take a joke....
