Any shops with good jacket selection? - March 11, 2006, 12:12 PM

I've been all over looking for a place to try on some Alpinestars jackets with no luck. Everywhere seems to have their boots, but no jackets.

Everywhere I go its the same Joe Rocket & Icon jackets. You'd think in a metro area like this there would be someplace with more selection.

Anyone know of such a place?

www.blueridgepowersports.com kinda far away from you, but worth the drive IMO.

Try Criswell Powersports in Gaithersburg.

I went to Colemans near Potomac Mills, and while they had a big "gear" section, they didn't really carry much (decent helmet selection though). They had your standard Joe Rocket jackets, Icon... a few others I wasn't really interested in.

I don't see why more places don't carry A*

Does their Falls Church location carry more? I'll even pay a little more than I could otherwise get a jacket for online, as long as its not obnoxiously different. I supose the reason all the gear selection sucks is that everyone just goes there to try things on but buys from somewhere else.

Of course, I can't blame anyone... the prices in these stores is not even mildly competitive.

The Falls Church Coleman's didn't have any A* the last time I went which was about 2 weeks ago. The only place I have been to with a decent selection is Ellicott City Motorsports.
