Anyone bought a shoei RF-1000 helmet online? - September 30, 2006, 05:02 PM

I specifically looking for those that purchased through newenough.com but any shoei online purchase will do.

Coleman's offers the helmet (RF-1000 Diabolic 2) for $475. It comes with a helmet bag, breath guard, and chin curtain. I have a 10% coupon from taking my MSF course. With Va taxes it comes out to about $450.

Now the same helmet on most online stores run about $427. Does anyone know if the helmets from online retailers include the same accessories that coleman's offers?

I bought mine locally (for fit--didn't think it was fair to save a few bucks online after spending sales staff time at a local dealer), but NE said they did when I was checking. Send 'em an email at sales.and.service@newenough.com.

I bought mine from here http://www.ridersinc.com/store/custo...e.php?cat=1273 and yes it did come with all the accessories. Actually I ordered one of the 2005 helmets (voltage) that was $399 but they didn't have any in stock so they gave me a 2006 (chamber) for the same price!

when you buy online most times you get all that stuff now if you was buying from ebay you might not get all the accersories, but for $25-$35 mor you might as well just get it locally cause you thats not alot of money and you can always take it back if the fit is wrong, now is your saving $100 just try it on in a store so you know your size and get it online
