Arai Neck Roll - March 24, 2012, 12:08 AM

Ok, I feel stupid for not having kept/read the instructions, but does anyone know how to remove the neck roll on an RX-Q? My google-fu is weak, and everyone (including the Arai website) just mentions the removable neck roll feature but nobody says how to do it. The plastic piece with the holes that the roll is sewn to seems to be bound or bolted into gap between the outer shell and the inner hi-density foam. I'm afraid to keep yanking on it because I'll probably break something. Is this a job that requires special tools, or am I being a putz?

Finally found the video on how to take out the neck roll if anyone is interested:

Looks like I was just too wimpy and needed to pull harder...
