Damn, the box and helmet bag alone has me interested. I know Bell from auto-x but know nothing about their M/C helmets. Anyone have feedback?

OMG, it's going for $650 on Helmet Harbor! It's only $200 on STG!

hmph paid $150 for my held's now they are $125. No one but Held had them at the time b/c they just came out....guess I should have waited for resellers to have them cheaper?

I love my bell star, I have an 09 version so its the bigger one. Order a size smaller than you normally would. Awesome helmet, great ventilation and aerodynamics are stellar. I would definately recommend this helmet for 200.

Ok, Helmet Harbor is giving the model line a thumbs up. That's a good sign.
Measured my head with some string = 55.5 cm and it it's a Small according to Bell's sizing chart. Like the guy said, these helmets run small.

Hmmm... credit card itchinnnnngggg..... part with my Shark RSR .. hmmmm

If you wear a L order a M if you normally wear a M order a S. I wear a L Shoei, Scorpion etc. and the 09 Bell Star I have is a M. Fit is amazing, it really is a great helmet. It also comes with 2 different stiffness cheak pads so you can adjust the size slightly.

Ok - I called STG. They have hundreds in stock. Apparently the bought up all the remaining US inventory.

As stated, Bell designed the head shell around the Snell M2005 standard which runs large so you have to step a size down.

In newer models they'll use the Snell M2010 standard which will run sizing the same as the others in the industry.

So remember, if it's M2005 certified step a size down from your normal size.

Thanks the OP for posting this. I think I'm going to pick up an early Xmas gift. If anyone is interested in a Large Shark RSR w/Dark Tint + some other goodies there may be one in Classifieds soon

For a thorough review I would PM or ask Todd, he uses it for racing.

I had the older model Ace of Spades which runs true to size. Fit was similar to Shoei. I thought I had a review up here somewhere. Vented as good as my X-11 BUT with it a TON of wind noise! Comfortable, as you can see in the review videos, comes with a nice bag and extra cheek pads and visor sock.

Nice too since it has deep ear pockets if one was to install speakers.

Levers are easy to operate with gloves.

NOW, they have the photochromatic shield to boot!

BUY it, you will like it. UNLESS STG has your X-11 in your size for the same price...

Not while doing your mother, no.
She liked me to wear my old Suomy instead.
