Dress Shoe Protection - April 25, 2006, 07:40 AM

I know this has come up before, but does anyone wear shoe scuff protection going to work?

I've seen Shifter Skinz, but those look really dumb.

Dude, I know this doesn't look the best, but cut the heal off of an old sock. Then cut a hole in the top and bottom of the toe to make a loop that fits over the back of your shoe. Put it on your left foot and you have a scuff protector for when you shift.

Fru, I put my dress pants and shoes in my backpack, and change at work, no need to mess up your good stuff. I used a sock for a while like mentioned above, but then I got nicer stuff.

I have some hush puppies that are basically unscuffable I wear those in. Today I am wearing $150 italian leather, I put those in my tankbag when I ride, I do not leave them at work.

I need a bigger laptop bag then.

I work at a highschool. I feel like whenever I ride in they think I'm trying to impress them with my two-wheels of skillxors.

I have 200 dollar italian leather named SIDI that I wear all the time. Formal (read uncomfortable waste of money) fit in both of my tank bags.
