Fastest tire shipping ever... for free. - August 6, 2008, 11:16 AM

Southwest Moto Tires.

I just bought my second set of Contisport attacks form these guys Monday afternoon, and they were sitting on my door step Tuesday evening. $248 delivered. Free shipping if you buy 2 or more.

The previous time I bought from these guys (same tires), I placed the order on a Sunday night and got them Tuesday morning. No shipping charge.

These guys don't have a slick website, but they get tires to you fast and cheap.

I'll post a review thread here shortly. They're not too bad so I'm getting another set.

I think I got close to 5000 miles out of them. Front's still ok for a few more, but the rear is just about bald down the center.

I got the 10r in mid-February this year at 7K miles. It has close to 18K miles on it now. Now to be fair, I do commute by bike about 30 miles round trip each day. The second set of conti's will be my third set of tires on the 10r (bought it with pilots that were nearly brand new).

I expect to blow through this second set of conti's and then put a dual compound set on for the cooler seasons.

Just about every place you order tires from ships 'fast'. That's because they have nothing to do with shipping. It's all drop shipped from the nearest distributor warehouse. I've ordered from a bunch of places over the years and I have yet to wait more than 3 days for tires. Oftentimes I get the tires next day.

... And it's never 'free'.

People seem to love Contis and say they last longer on their litre bikes.... Plus they're a little cheaper. I'm tempted to try them. They seem great.

If they ship from PA they are here next day. If they come from AZ or CA it takes 3 or 4. SWMototires is great I have used them for years almost exclusively. Just don't ask Blaine a bunch of questions

I can't speak for the sport attacks but the road attacks worked great for me.

With your gravel riding you may want to look at the Dunlop D616.

Just like a diry bike

Just got another set of tires from Southwest Moto Tires. I decided to try the Bridgestone BT016 dual compound tires for the cooler months. Also got a rear contisport attack to finish up the warm season with (front is still good; rear is shot after trip to Deal's Gap).

In fact, I ordered the wrong Bridgestones, the BT021s instead of '16s, but after an email several hours later to SW Moto, they changed the order and sent me the '16s without any hassle. They're great to work with, offer great prices, and ship quickly with no extra charge if you order more than one tire.

(Five out of five)

I ordered a set of Pilot Powers Friday from MotoXoutlet and still don't have a tracking number. Good deal though $266 for both front and rear delivered.
