gear review: jackets4bikes - seller on ebay - October 24, 2008, 07:44 PM

I recently purchased some winter gloves from this seller on ebay.

Ordered them 10/19

Arrived today 10/24

$24.99 w/ free shipping

just test rode them - AWESOME pair of gloves

gauntlet style w/ armored knuckles and finger pad protection and velcro over the wrist adjustable tab.

sizing runs good, I ordered a L and are nice and snug.

3M scotchlite reflective material

comes with water/wind proof HIPORA glove inserts stichted in(very warm and soft inside)

I did another test and left them outside for a bit...then stuck my hand in....warmed up very fast...almost like you could feel the cold being pushed out of them.

Their items on ebay look sketchy cause of the pics...but their stuff is very nice and very cheap.

overall satisfaction: 9

Dude, jackets4bikes is AWESOME. I got my full armor jacket, armored pants and amored gloves there, all for about 250 bucks. The jacket and pants zip together to make a suit, great qaulity, thick leather, good armor inlcuded for the price to. I'll be gertting alotta future stuff from them. if only they had heated gloves....

yea i agree....awesome stuff without the extra $250 for a logo and name brand clutter that's so ironically placed...it gets rubbed, rashed, or ripped off in a crash.... NICE.

i only see single stitching on most of the gloves, is the thread kevlar? ...cheap yes, but safe and durable? You only have one set of fingers and they break and grind down real easily when gloves fail in a crash. Anyone crash tested this stuff?

Confusing the issue, since before you were ugly.

Woody: i'd probably bang her if she didn't look like a man

spud: yeah, i was checking out dicks

Yeah, they do have kevlar stitching. Theres a big "Kevlar" tag on my glovers, might not be visible in the photo but its there. The steel p[lated gloves look awesome, but they only got shorties. I know those bad boys will hold up, there half covered in steel plating!
