Good chick helmets? - June 23, 2010, 12:41 PM

What's the verdict on current women's helmets? Might be taking some lady friends on some rides this summer, so wanna get a good helmet for them. I don't wanna go too crazy on a $400 Arai but I'll spend a good bit to keep their dome pieces safe.... pink, stars, unicorns, justin bieber, whatever!

Ha! A friend of mine got a motorcycle back when I was 19 or so. When I asked him if I could ride on the back, he said, "sure, as long as you go buy yourself a helmet."

A hard hat usually provides adequate protection for anything that might fall out of kitchen cabinets.

The BELL Star far out vents the HJC I listed, just about on par with the X-11 which vents like a hurricane.

Wore the Star 2x, too smal kept giving me headaches.

Eff that! They expect you to buy them $100-$500 helmets? I don't know about that... make them give a bit to the "relationship," too!
