Helmets with interior sun shield? - September 3, 2009, 10:41 AM

I've been looking for a helmet with an interior sun shield like the Vemar Jiano

but didn't want something with a flip up chin bar and hopefully is SNELL approved.

Any ideas?

Grats

HJC had one, last year, most places still have them available. I believe they won't pass SNELL.

Got one on my Vega V-Tune Bluetooth helmet. Slides up and down easy.

Much thanks

HJC Symaxx II - September 3, 2009, 01:01 PM

i have a symaxx II that i use for a spare helmet. It's fairly comfortable, though a bit noisy. very convenient if i'm too lazy to wear contacts.

I have the HJC. I like it for a cheap helmet. Wind noise is still an issue. But the weight is decent. The face shield is anti-fog and actually works but the flip down sun shade is not anti fog. Kind of a bitch in the early mornings when the sun first comes up. But that's my only complaint so far with the HJC.
