Heroic Racing SP-R Pro Gloves - April 15, 2010, 08:07 AM

The wait was well worth it, I wanted something different and something unique. My previous gloves were Rev-it, I actually liked the Rev-it but lost them when I made a pit stop on the way to CMP.

I had no choice and ended up buying some cheap no name gloves to get me by the track day and last weeks races.

Well last week I ended up doing 15 races and 1 TC 2hr race, towards the end of the racing weekend, I notice a tear already on the seam from the temporarily gloves I had purchased.

Come to work Monday and my gloves arrived
Attention to detail very good.
Unique gets my approval
Fits better than the other gloves I had. In Rev-it I was a medium, in my cheap gloves I was a medium, in the Heroic I am a large.

Pretty nice Jon...They look like they are loaded with good protection. Similar stuff to the Spidi and Rev'it glove I've owned.

I hate the ring/pinky finger thing though.

Good stuff!

Sweet looking gloves man. I've heard nothing but good things about Heroic. Do you have plans on having them doing a custom suit for you in the future?

P-L Production ---> MARRC TD

Buying a sportbike to go the speed limit (which you do not do in your car) is like buying a condom to look at it.

Do you buy a condom to look at it? No you buy it to fuck.
Thank you Rossi

I'm not used to the ring/pinky finger thing I rode the street R6 to work to day and it felt weird shifting, these gloves are more of a race/track gloves imo.

Custom suit don't know yet, if I do I'll wait till next year. I love my Dainese suit but as of right now don't know. Todd will prob. suck me into getting a custom suit made lol.

These gloves ALMOST look as good quality as Held's....just curious as the price point.

Also did you have these done custom? lol...maybe the index and middle finger should have been pink and the pinky brown? lol....

Anyways the gloves look great!

What do you value more? Life or Image?

It took me a while to adjust to the GP pinky too. I used to use 3 fingers on the clutch, but with my Heroics, I have to use 2 or 4. I went the 4 route, and I'm used to it now. You're riding mostly on the track, so you should be alright anyways. Just practice your launches with the gloves. If you get custom gloves made, you can also request them to be made without the GP pinky.

Yes - the quality is great. I'd definitely put it on par with helds. Full kangaroo leather construction, with stingray protection.

Mine were pricey.

Yes these are custom made, he sketched up 3 different color patterns for me.
