so i may not have the bike yet, but im starting to get the gear (kind of helps my motivation). i already have the helmet, gloves, and jacket. but was wondering what people thought of them. they are the icon TiMax Jacket (not mesh) in white, icon Halo Fusion Mainframe Helmet in white, and the TiMax gloves in white.

just kind of wondering about the general concencus (sp?)

Nice looking gear... IMHO... gauntlet gloves, leather over textile, and maybe for the price you could get a lighter weight and probably better helmet... If you're not definite on Icon helmets

That gear is awesome. I love ICON stuff. It's highly durable and looks pretty sick. I have a few of their products on the way now. Wish I could afford more of it.

i would like to get a 2004 silver R1, but cant find one forsale locally, if i can get a big enough down payment i may get a 2006 black, or 50th anni, R1.

Are you going to do any track riding? The new 600's are no joke! If you're going to do trackdays the 06 R6 has a full suspension adjustments and the 06 Suzuki looks to be pretty potent as well.

dont know about track days just yet, but maybe if there is somekind class session. i just dont really want to get out on the track with other more experienced riders and mess them up.

there is one in the classifieds, but i talked to him yesterday and he moved to FL. might try and get it but that may be a little bit of stretch on pick up. but im workin on it.
