It's an old Arai(if you couldn't tell) Profile. More than likely out of date. Wouldn't be worth more than $50.

don't look inside the helmet, they are just messing with you!

unfortunately it's not an easy process, you will have to call Arai directly and describe the shape and graphics (colour, designs, etc.), each model and year have a specific conbination. They will be able to tell you for sure.

Given that he posted five times then immediately listed a bike for sale, I'd wager he's selling the old busted helmet along with the old busted bike.

also Arai produces their helmets only on odd years and certain colors go with certain numbers (it's fun!).

From their website, 1=yellow 3=blue 5=red 7=white or black or gray =9 green

The blue one is a rare find. In my professional opinion, I'd say it dates back to 1910. That particular model was limited in production which spanned from August to October of that year. Due to the limited number of motorized bicycles at that time the demand for such high quality saftey gear wasn't as prevelant as it is today. From the research I've conducted it's quite possible that Mr. Yamaha himself wore it, all the texts from that time indicate this.

The texts go on to tell the tale of Mr. Yamaha's lost treasure. It's said that in this very helmet he placed a long forgotten map to trasures in the liner. Quite a find indeed, good sir! To this day these treasures have not yet been recovered.

At auction I would value this piece to be valued between 20,000USD and 25,000USD. If the liner is still in tact, to the right buyer, it could be worth well over 100,000USD.

I Have Nothing To Contribute.

Chicks are like jobs...all the good ones are taken and they can't pay you enough to do the ones that are available.
