Ran across this on the superbikeplanet.com site. This could be really cool or sad.

Sad if it is gaudy crap. The jordan brand Nike line has some really nice stuff but some is just gawdawful butt ugly. Hopefully they will come up with some nice stuff. I think it will be great for the sport as long as it is a good quality brand but if the stuff is ugly then Jordan brand or not people will not buy it. The name alone can gurantee sales in the basketball world but in the Motorcycle world the Jordan name alone will not get the sales.

Yeah...but how much will it sell. Joe Rocket is not going to continue the relationship if in a year they are looking at half the stuff they ship still sitting on store shelves. The name alone will not carry it in this sport. High profile privateer team or not.

I believe it is a good move for joe rocket. The motorcycle sport has become extremely huge. I believe the stunters and younger generation will clean the selves.

Damn I should have waited. Here I am rocking my Tommy Lasorda jacket, Terry Bradshaw helmet, Dwight "Doc" Gooden boots and Craig T. Nelson aka Hayden Fox and Jerry Van Dyke aka Luther Van Dam jeans. I look like such a fool.
