Komodo Leathers? - January 29, 2009, 10:49 PM

Does anyone wear komodo leathers? I found a komodo pro series suit for sale on another board that I'm thinking about. Did a quick search to see if I could find some reviews or any non-biased info but I didn't find much. Figured someone on here might know.

The guys on the WERA board love the Komodos. A lot of big name privateers run them with success...hope that helps.

I have a custom FX suit from them and it is without a doubt one of the most sturdy suits I have ever worn. Admittedly the fit took some getting used to, but I love the suit. Very good, thick leather, great armor, and once broken in is like a second skin.

I got a pair of their FX race gloves along with the suit and I am sold on them as well, a lot of padding, plus they are vented as well.

I have talked to others who have the off-the rack suits and they are made the same way.

Would be happy to tell you anything you might want to know if you have any questions about them.

The seller has it advertised as a pro series model. From what I've found it looks very similar to the meso model but I'm not sure if it's the same thing. I can't find any info on a pro series model by komodo. I just want to look at the manufacturers specs for the suit.

Try calling Komodo, they are pretty easy to talk to and they can tell you the specs for the suit you are looking at.

Just out of curiosity, how much are they asking for the set you are looking at?
