Leather pants with shin protectors - May 16, 2010, 12:04 AM

I finally received my leather pants, and they fit me GREAT, except that they are somewhat longer. The problem is with the shin protectors, how do you guys deal with it and the boots?

I straped the upper portion of the boot over the shin protector, but the boot feels kind of "loose". I then tried raising the shin protector, and closing the boot strap underneath it. The problem with that attempt, is that the lower portion of the shin protector rest on top of the boot strap, and it "raises" the entire shin\knee protector when I am on the ridding position.

So how is it supposed to be? How do you guys deal with it?

Shift, and they do come with a full circumference zipper, but my shift jacket has a 3/4 zipper (ARGH!)

Bueller, Bueller, Bueller...

How about modifying the pants, and doing the pants over the boots thing?
