Leather work - May 15, 2006, 06:12 AM

I just wanted to put out Bedo's Leather Repair in Falls Church Virginia as a great leather worker.

www.leatherrepair.com

I took my Joe Rocket Speedmaster suit there to get fitted for me, as it's for heavier set people. GREAT price, GREAT work, can't tell anything was done. EXTREMELY fast turn around time. a little under two weeks, which if you thinkn about hte process it takes and the price, it isn't bad.

check them out, a lot of leather workers refuesed to take my suit for alterations.

Good info, thanks.

I've also had good experiences with Executive Leather Services on Route 1 in Hyattsville, MD. 301-699-8594.

I would also like to give props to Bedo's leather repair as i brought them my suit which was a little to big and they made it fit to perfection.

Ask for Steve Doudaklian (Owner)

They also do work on gloves!!!!

What kind of prices do they charge for alterations.. My Teknic suit is big on me, but the size under I think is too small.. I don't know if it would be worth it to get it altered, or just get a new suit all together..

Generally for a resize it's about $125

I had to have my arm length redone and my pant legs had to be redone and they charged me $250. But if I was only to do my arm length or just the pants it would have only been $125. But I think it was WELL worth the $$$ as it fits perfect!

Adjusting the arms and so forth to make for instance the elbow or knee fit better costs more money cause its more taking apart this difficult puzzle and putting back togehter.

it cost me 110 bucks for my alteration.

I think buying these Spidi leathers I am looking at would probably be better for me as the seller only wants $400 (brand new) which is a steal since they retail for over $1000... They are 2004 models though(who cares?) haha

np np, just throwing out Bedo's name.

damn i wish i had a deal like that when i bought my leathers.

i paid 800 for my speedmaster.

and now an extra 110 for the alteration, if i could do it again i would have ordered my suit from SYED - roughly 800 for a full fitted suit.
