My Arai Painted! - May 31, 2008, 09:15 PM

Just got my vector back from Gary Best Kustumz in Waldorf, MD... I had him put on a couple of stuff on it and re-paint it red to match the bike. Pictures don't do it much justice since there is some chromallusion on the white sections. I hope I don't scratch it in the first week like I do with all my other helmets.

Also got a new bike while I was down there to race Ali's 250.

Cool. I like solid color schemes.

I'm iffy about the color, but hey, it's your helmet not mine--but I totally love the eye and the calligraphy on the sides.

Would it have been better if he had painted the Turkish flag blue? You fucking dolt.

Thank you Matt, I'm not retarded. I understood what he was going for with the helmet. I just think it's an unattractive base color for a helmet and he could have gotten the same essential effect with a red field with the crescent and star in it--but it's not my helmet--it's his and if he likes it, that's awesome. I really like the additional details as I said. I think they'd look great in red on a white helmet, maybe with something like this:

Again, though, that's my opinion. It's his helmet and his design, so what I think doesn't matter any more than your assumption that I'm some kind of provincial dipshit.
