My Mirror'd Visor is Melting!?! (pics) - July 27, 2006, 04:49 PM

I got this Suomy mirror'd visor and I think it has a rash or virus. The mirror finish is like wearing away or something, almost like it's got an STD or something but I haven't used it as a sexual apparatus? This happen to anyone else?

See the top of it especially. Wierd.

Yep it's the Ammonia (sp). I use plexis or R100 on all my visors
and haven't had gonerhia outbreaks such as yours is suffering.
Next time wrap it in a condom.

Ok, so the visor has syphillus... I sent it back to the place I bought it and they're sending me a new one. I might have used that orangy/minty cleaner you buy at Target on it. I'll just use soap and water next time.

If it's iridium based, don't use plexus or windex either... just use water

What a crap visor. I use windex on mine on the time (don't know what brand it is) and it's just fine after two years.

any windex that has amonia will cause to fad the visor....... you might be using the windex without that works as well
