Just got a hippest gift. The Aerostich Darien Jacket in hi-viz. Inspires the comment “ewwwww” It’s gonna look really funky with my Darien pants.

I have really been thinking about that jacket. Or any Darien for that matter. I sent my size, and riding position to Aerostich and they came back with that model. I am tired of burning through $130 textile jackets every season. I want something that will last.

My ideal weight if I were 10 feet tall!

There is a guy in my building at work that has a jacket like that. Everytime I see him, my first instinct is to take the stairs. Then I realize that he is not a fireman.

got recommendations on waterproof gloves? That's my biggest chap, i'm tired of my gloves bleeding out and staining my hands for 3 days. I have a rain suit for everything else.

May be uglier but not safer cause mine is a Raodcrafter. Good choice. Kept me warm this morning, keeps me dry as well.
