Question Need Rain Gear for Sunday - March 4, 2011, 12:36 PM

Hi,

Ideally I'm looking to borrow someones rain gear for this Sunday, March 6th. I just bought a motorcycle and some gear and well, I didn't buy rain gear because I don't intend to ride in rain (who does?). Anyways, I'm taking the basic motorcycle rider's course at NOVA CC in Alexandria and was wondering if anyone would let me borrow their rain gear. I don't expect to receive many hits on this thread but we shall see.

Someone suggested I go to target but they don't carry rain gear. That was the cheap route. Not trying to go to Dick's or anywhere else really and spend $$$. I live in Arlington and can drive to you to pick up.

Thanks!

I took my Basic course in the rain.. no rain gear... very wet experience, though the worst thing is the visor fogging up and needing to wipe it off..

honestly you would be good in ANY rain suit that you could find at KMART, WALMART...one of the marts...lol. propbably in the sporting goods section near fishing/hunting stuff.

You are not going to be riding at speed during MSF where you would actually need the benefits of a Motorcycle rain suit...except probably the fit part while sitting on a bike...(but you could manage that for a day with just any old suit...)

I had a guy run straight at an instructor and hit a curb when I took it back in 2000. He didn't return the next day LOL!
Congrats on passing...
