Alpinestars Tech back protector. Pretty comfortable last season. I've heard the Icon back/chest protector is good also. I think deviousr6 uses that.

Bohn... most comfortable one I've had.

I know some trackdays are picky on their back protectors. Will this back protector pass inspection?

I believe this is one of the best ones around. Bohn is a rip off of it. This has won top pick in europe for years.

I held off since it's UK and it costed about $200.

Just bought me one..nice find paulio!!

I've heard of track orgs requiring a back protector but what do you mean about picky?

I use the ICON vest because it offers protection for the ribs and chest area...and of course back. No complaints but it does not breathe as well as the others so you will heat up faster. Aside from that, I have no complaints and I did land on my back once last year...it did it's job well!

My jacket has CE approved amor in the spine. Thats all I've ever used. Luckily, I haven't had to test how well it holds up.
