Noise Blocking earbud TIPS for cheap :) - May 19, 2010, 12:37 PM

http://cgi.ebay.com/6x-Replacement-E...item3a5a5db6a5

I was searching for replacment tips for my Marshmallows and similar tips to throw on sone Sony earbuds I got for my bday that didn't have the ear-plug style tips.

$4.50 shipped gets you a set of 6 - small, medium and large pairs of the silicone earplug tips that come with Marshmallows. Gonna use them on my new Sonys and you can probably use them on whatever earbuds you have if you want some noise blockage. My exhaust/bike is louder than shiz, especially past 4k rpm so they work pretty well. So don't replace or throw your old buds away, just get some tips....

Roll em betwen your fingers because they get soft with heat then jam in em in..as they cool they expand and block the Jardine/Yoshimura/whatever ear killing exhaust you got.

I used these for my iphone earphones before:

They work well. They help with noise cancellation and keeping the earbuds in.

No, I just spend too much time on the net. I actually got a pair of them for free.

At the time I was looking for something to keep my earbuds from getting pulled out all the time. I found that product on the net and wanted to try it out. I actually contacted them to ask if anyone has tried them with motorcycle helmets to see if they keep the earbuds in. They were interested in what I had to say and said that the CEO actually is an avid dirt rider and competes in the Baja challenge on the West Coast. So, the CEO got in contact with me, and I explained that it's a common problem for street riders. He said he was interested in what I had to say, so he sent me a free pair. He got some good feedback, and I got some free stuff. Win-win.

Noice!!!!!!!!! Mine only pop out when I take the helmet off sometimes...or if I don't give enough slack up near top of jacket opening. Or accidently tuck wiries under chin strap. Thats cool as hell you got a free pair though. How do they compare to any others? Loved my Marshmallows till I lost the medium plugs (small ones fell out, big ones fell out) but my new Sonys sound better but don't block the noise. So I bought Marshmallow-esque the tips for the Sonys...

They're a little weird to put on with the ribbed parts, but the stay in well and block noise well too. If I run into you sometime and have them on me, I'll show you what they look like in person.

Amazon Amazon

these are incredible, you roll them up just like ear plugs and then they expand inside of your ear. comfortable and very secure

Those look cool, but they say they degrade over time, especially with sweat. Sweat like a mofo under a full face lid.....

Gotta find some cheap custom janks for Rronin.
