Good job on gear. That helmet will protect you from flying bricks For boots people seem to like the sidi. Personally I prefer my oxtars. Good luck with gloves. Try a bunch of pairs on and see what you like. I prefer the stitching on the outside but you may not. I'm just glad you have gear. Just make sure to wear it.

Then again... That's just me.

Good direction with the gear. For gloves, NewEnough has the below on closeout for $30 (from $100).

Looks good, should be proud of yourself for thinking to budget gear into getting a new bike. You even did the fancy matching thing :lol. Have you tired on the helmet yet?? If you have any doubt about fitment ask one of the sales reps to check you out, proper fitment will make sure you're protected if you go down. Also wear it for a while to see if there are any spots like the top of the forehead that irritate you. Just bought a Shoei RF-1000 and it's been the most comfortable helmet I've worn out of the 3 owned. No head shake, great fit, very soft inner liner and great vents.

Good luck.

I have a whole set of pants, gloves, helmet, jacket, boots and shoes for sale if you are interested. All Joe Rocket and top of the line. Less than 2K in mileage on them and I will let them go for a good price.

I just got a new HJC helmet. I like the vents on the AC-11 better than the this yrs models. The cheek vents don't open on the new ones, just seem to be exhaust. I picked up one from tonker.com for $150, shipped. Check them out, pretty good prices.
Jacket looks good. A*'s are pretty sharp. Good rep too. I just got A* gloves, SP1s.
I have black/gray gear too, works w/ any color bike. Not all black so you don't dissapear at night.

Go ahead and check. 46 is pretty big. It is too tight for me but I am 6'5 at over 245.
