Recommendation on Back Protector? - June 16, 2008, 04:51 PM

I just bought an Alpinestar 2pc suit. Unfortunately it doesn't come standard with CE back protector. Can you guys recommend me a backprotector? I'm a small guy so smaller sizing would be great. Thanks!

I'll have Astar and Teknic back protectors in stock in a few days. You might also want to consider the Astar Bionic Shield which also has a chest protector or the icon field vield armor vest.

Gimme a call at 703.378.4115 and I'll go over everything with you.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

BOOSTZX3 : in all seriousness head injuries ain't no joke. I've had around 10 concussions and now I ride a Buell Don't let it happen to you!

my Forcefield T-Pro back protector is amazing, I highly reccommend it.

It's light, flexible, and you hardly notice it's there.

I'm happy with my JR Speedmaster BP so far, and it gets good reviews. Haven't wrecked in it though. Haven no plans to either.

Since you have the A* jacket, get the A* Bionic Race Back Protector. It should button right up to your jacket...perfect fit and fit is key with back protectors.

What do you guys think of the Velocity Gears back protector? My friend went down at Summit and it saved his life. It's not too expensive either. Cost him $70.

Knox Contour Race...extends down past the tail bone. Expensive but comfortable and fits under snug leathers.
