Recommendations for summer gloves - July 23, 2008, 12:02 PM

Anyone recommend any particular shorty summer gloves? I own a pair of JR Phoenix gloves that are shot. I may just go with another pair. However, I want to see what others think first.

I know these gloves offer less protection. I want these gloves for commuting in hot weather. I don't wear them on the recreational rides so please, let's keep the thread on summer shorty mesh/perf leather gloves. Thanks!

I like the Mechanix gloves. They are comfortable…and really breath…plus pretty stylish…I'm just sayin...

I've had two sets of Icon Pursuit gloves. They are my favourite. They probably wouldn't hold up too great in a wreck but the palm is reinforced, the knuckles are molded CF, and the whole thing is perf.

I'd recommend.

I also have a pair of summer gloves that cost about 3 times as much but I wear the ones noted above much more.

I've got these. They're cheap, super comfortable and cool, but don't offer much protection.

OSD I use the A-stars Octane S-Moto gloves. They hold up great and keep my hand cool. they are the shortest glove I will wear. I have put maybe 10,000 miles on them and going strong. Here is he new enough link.
