Mesh is a waste of money. It would freakin rip to shreads if you went down. Leather all the way

I don't think that's a completely fair assessment of mesh. Yeah sure, leather is the best, especially if you're out dragging knee, but mesh has a place on chill rides, for commuting, and so on. You can find testimonials about mesh jackets, and Firstgear makes a good pair of mesh pants that I own. While you will likely only get one crash out of it, it's cheaper than leather or Stich.
