Stupidly low priced Rev'it suits - August 27, 2013, 09:15 AM

Holy crap - $485 for a Rev'it 1 piece suit
REV'IT! Bullit One Piece Suit :: MotorcycleGear.com

Not sure what's up, as it's the current base model. But new-enough is offering them up at a stupid low price that cannot last.

if you're looking for upping your gear for a track day or just in general, this is a crazy deal.

yeah, hence my I don't quite get it comment. The Bullit is a current model that came out for this year. I could understand if it was New With Tag 'old' stock that had been replaced my a newer model - that's how I got my Tarmac suit at 50% of retail.

but according to their write up, it's on close out... so I guess they are phasing it out.

Also looks like it might not be coming with sliders - so FYI
"Velcro for Knee Sliders (Use your own or REV’IT! sliders can be purchased separately… see link below)"

Man, they still have a decent selection of colors and sizes. If you're looking for your own holiday present

So RevIt is a good purchase? I dont know much about them as a company so i have kinda steered away from their products for the most part.

Rev'it isnt bad at all. I have a pair of their gloves that held up well. I have a Speed and Strength suit thats lasted me for a while. Quality gear can be found all over, just have to look closely when youre buying

Thanks for the pointer! I'll have to keep an eye on their gear. Any particular piece of gear they're known for? Gloves, jacket, boots, etc?

At the respective price Id put them up against Dainese. Now Dainese
does seem to go higher price cap and in those items uses their newest
farkles and then trickles them down to lower price points over time.

But within their smaller sport range I'd say they are on par.

Rev it does do more adventure segment gear than dainese fwiw.

Can't say they are known for any one segment, though they don't make boots as far as I know
