I am thinking about buying a suomy helmet, but i am hesitant because i have heard they fade. I have a friend that has one and his faded. If im paying lots of $$ i dont want something that fades. Anyone have a suomy that faded on them??

I have a Scott Russell Gunwind ( One of the original helmets when they first started importing them years ago) it has not faded one bit. I've had it for about 8 years now.

No. Mine has not faded yet. I got the spec 1 r extreme and it's the best helmet i've ever owned...

We have 3 Suomy (2) Spec-1r, Guareschi and Gambler as well as (1) Extreme Spec-1r Pearl White. NONE have faded... I used the Guareschi which is almost a neon red and is now retired and still looks new as the day it was bought.
