Well not sure how good this cam is , but for a 100 bucks its not bad , uses a sd card to record on, so theres no wires or seperate recorder needed , prolly good for making little youtube clips and what not. Its suppose to be waterproof and shockproof.

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, itís like thisÖA herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

If it's made by Oregon Scientific, it is good. I use flip's since he hasn't needed it back for a while.

The 4gb card will net you about 60 minutes at 640x480 at 30fps. I reduce it to internet size 320x240 and get almost 2 hours of recording. It is decent for the price you are getting. I had it mounted to the SV via RAM mount system and used a piece of dual density foam armor to help shield it against vibrations. It recorded well when I went to 33 with JDog, rhouck, styles, James, and others sweeping. You can still see ripples in the video from the twin in the 6k-9k rpms range but livable.

I also use lithium batteries as it will suck the life out of cheaper alkaline units. If you prefer to use rechargeables be sure it is for heavier duty.

Styles, I STILL owe you vids from that ride! my bad bro...

Recently, I mounted again with a RAM stem mount system to the R6. This time used WITHOUT vibration protection (foam or whatever) and do believe the amount of vibration at 10k-14k coming up thru the stem was TOO MUCH for it and would constantly shut off after 10 seconds. I will modify it and do another run soon.

The OS version is weatherproof, runs on 2 AA. Since it is weatherproof, the buttons are DIFFICULT to operate with race gloves. Even w/o gloves you need to use part of your fingernail to depress the thick rubber button.

I'll post up a short test vid once I remember what site I put it on.

It does have issues on a cloudy day with white balance but no big deal.

Went thru pouring rain with it and never had a problem.

EDIT: 2gb, huh? works with 4gb
If I can find a 4x35x1.00 stainless hexhead bolt, I'd mount it up to a sportbikecam mount and see how much better the vid would be...damn hard to find bolt!

Alkaline, not long, maybe 1 hour to 2 most. The lithiums are the same ones from the 33 ride but I took them out of the camera when done at the end of the day each time. The 33 run it was on and off recording and on standby the whole day, except for long stops.
