Visor inserts? - March 20, 2006, 10:31 AM

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good visor insert for an Arai RX-7? I just had to send back Fog City's Hyper Opticks insert (http://www.modernworld.com). It's supposed to get darker when in the sun and lighter when not. I used it the other night (not recommended for use at night) and found it to be hazy/blurry. No fogging though. After talking to the owner of the company, I got a refund. I think the insert might have been defective.

Any other suggestions? Anybody using something like this now?

I used to use fog city inserts all of the time. I have only used the clear. They are a little less clear and scratch extremely easily. Great for no fog though. I think they are a good idea but are satisfactory for usage.
