Where can I find big guy love 1pc suits - June 16, 2006, 04:35 PM

What up? I searched the forums for "big boi suits" and the like but to no avail.

I know I can get a custom one made but I'd like to just poof get one. So can the big guys on the forums help me out.

Big guy here!
I got my suit off of parts 411.com for $375 and paid some additional $$ to have it altered.
The suits that are on the budget side for us big guys are the AGV Aegis suit, Teknic Chicane, as well as most Joe Rockets.

But check out Parts411.com for their closeout suits as well as Newenough.com

I love my Aegis suit...as it fits my big ass pretty well.

Joe Rocket makes a 56 GPX.
I fit me...barely! LOL
But I can't recommend it. I had a medium speed lowside and it came apart.
Spend the money on a set of Vansons. They will last and fit great.
Nothing worse than leathers that don't fit correctly.

You could also try Barnacle Bill. He's a guy in south carolina(Or north...can't remember for sure) Builds totally customs suits by hand himself. Very very strong stuff. He comes highly recommended in the roadracing community. You can find contact info through the WERA BBS. His prices have always been very compettive for a custom suit.

Yeah MudDawg, I was just over at his site :http://www.racingleather.com Another good idea. There is also http://www.zcustom.com/ custom leathers too.

I want to try and find one of the larger JR GPX 1's to try on to get decent idea about what size I wear.
