certainly feel u on the no bling outfit, just look at my all black riding gear.

I like fitting stuff on, so I'd go to the shops and try stuff on before you settle on something though. Now that its getting hot you might want to look at perforated jackets. I have the Joe Rocket Blaster which isnt to bad as long as Im moving.

good luck

I agree with Eduardo, one of them Joe Rocket Mesh jackets can be picked up for $99, and when you are riding it feels like you arent wearing it. Nice with the padding too.

yup, the Phoenix jackets are pretty nice. quite a few people here have them. I use the First Gear Mesh-Tex tho, basically the same thing as the Phoenix and you can get it on www.motoxoutlet.com. I read somewhere on the review sites that the First Gear was a little bit more durable.

that site also has the Phoenix jacket for 69.99, but I dont know if its with all colors and all sizes. If the weather stays like it was today, I don't think I'll be wearing my Blaster (Perf Leather) jacket til September. It was damn hot today. Good thing I didnt have to sit in traffic.

That's why im ordering my mesh/textile jacket this week. I sat in traffic on 28 today coming home from a class for work and i thought i was going to die in my leather jacket I actually had to pull off once and let the bike cool for 5 mins because it got so hot!

I just thought about it too...Since im ordering a mesh/textile maybe ill just save up and get a 1 or 2 piece suit...

*Update* I actually went with a Joe Rocket Rio mesh jacket. Replaced my donor helmet with an HJC CL-14 and also picked up a pair of Alpinestar SP2's and Joe Rocket Hard Drive boots.... For my leathers i ordered the GPX 2-Piece suit from Joe Rocket so i can double it up as a single leather jacket if needed. I wont get that until Mid/End of August because it's on back order in all black

Have you ordered anything from the motoxoutlet site? Their tire prices are pretty good, just wondering if they're legit.

what do you mean by legit? I ordered the jacket and it came, no problems. I looked at the tire prices and found http://www.discountmotorcycletire.com is much better.
