I got knocked up into the air and hit the car's hood with my butt and the windshield with my shoulders/back and head. Only thing not armored was my butt and it is pretty sore. My wife made me go to the hospital where they admired my butt and took an xray of my neck. I seem to be ok although I'm pretty sore and likely to be more sore tomorrow.

I was hoping to put 100k miles on this bike (closing in on 70k). After it got dragged all over the road on its right side it may not be worth doing. I think more damage was done to the bike getting it detached from the car and on the tow truck than in the accident.

Damn that sucks. How are you feeling today?

Sleeping really sucks. The muscles of my neck hurt all the way around so any time I move my head I wake up. I've got sore muscles from head to toe. Did I mention that sleeping sucks?

Wow, that sucks! Sorry for your pain and bike damage, but that could easily have been a LOT worse! Glad you're relatively OK.

Sheeeeeeeitttttttt, that SUCKS!

Glad you are in one piece though Kirk. At least you have another chance to put 100K miles on another CBR1K. Could have been worse.

Yeah, in spite of everything I was very lucky. I drove my truck in to work today and realized, while heading down the road, that I don't feel as good as I thought I did while just lounging about at home.

The rear wheel is straight up nasty:

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.
