Ahh, spring... - April 19, 2011, 07:23 AM

As I'm sitting here, I just got a text from a young man from whom I was supposed to go and pick up a bike from this afternoon;

"I can't sell you the bike anymore, I had a low-side last night and the whole left side of the bike is messed up"

When I texted him back that "this is a joke, right?" His response was that he was still at the ER getting the sand and gravel debraded from his whole left side leg to the top of his shoulder.

Being the evil bastard that I am, I texted him back with the query "You were wearing, gear, right?" his response was.."Just gloves"

Nuff said..............

Sounds like a 'totaled' bike to be purchased from the insurance company for cheap. Glad he was ok. (just guessing he was ok since he sent a text).

yeah I'd tell him you still want the bike...if you don't mind a down rashed bike.

considering the condition you maybe able to get a better deal?

What do you value more? Life or Image?
